Eat, Ski and Dance

If ever a person were to ask me what my 3 fav things were, it would be unequivocally the aforementioned. Live Happy. Eat what you like, but savor it. Don't engorge yourself with endless food. Live that experience. Dance. Let your body feel the music, move with the music and become the music. Ski. Reach the Summit, survey the land, and cruise back down to do it again.

Dragon Fruit at Huntington Beach.  Little beknownst to the common man, is Little Saigon.  LA is host to the largest population of Vietnamese outside Vietnam.  Located in Westminister, CA a half hour drive from downtown LA, its a little slice of Vietnamese heaven.  Theres pho, there’s Bahn Xeo, three colored drink, and fruit, lots and lots of exotic fruit, just like the one above.  Dragon fruit here, in the US, is expensive and hard to find.  I was lucky enough to find one when I traveled out west and happened to stumble upon this tucked away little enclave of Vietnamese.  In order to travel in Little Saigon, you need a Vietnamese with you, they know all the secret treasures that only Vietnamese are allowed to know.  My trip paid off when I was able to sample Sour Sop, Durian, Jack Fruit, Star Fruit, Dragon Fruit, Rambutan, Mangosteen, and Guava.  Dragon fruit was not my favorite, but definately the most beautiful.
